Cubs

cubsOur group meets on Tuesday evening at the HQ.

We have sixes and you will be put into one on your first night. Our sixes have colours as names.

Every week you should:

  • Come dressed in your uniform unless told not to.
  • Bring your handbook which should be marked with your name.
  • Bring your necker which should have your name on.

Uniform

You can wear your cub uniform as soon as you have it. You can get a Radnage Scout Group Necker from your leader or from the National Schoolwear Centre in High Wycombe. There will be a number of badges which you will be given and these are sewn on your uniform as shown below. If you have any queries speak to Mike or a leader and they will help you. You can also wear the Radnage Scout Group T-shirt, ask your leader for more details.

Investiture

After a few weeks at Cubs, you will be Invested into the pack. It is important that you know your Cub Scout Motto, Law and Promise. If you can remember them without looking, all the better.sn-cl-promise

The Motto is ‘Be Prepared’

The Cub Scout Law is:

Cub Scouts always do their best, think of others before themselves and do a good turn everyday.’

The Cub Scout Promise is:

‘I promise that I will do my best, to do my duty to God and to the Queen, to help other people and to keep the Cub Scout Law.’

You will be told when your Investiture will be so that you can bring your parents with you if you want.
